Pharmacist is partially wrong.
Ionamine is also called Phentermine as well as Adipex. Your pharmacist probably does not have the branded Ionamine, and your doctor probably wrote for the branded Ionamine, so your pharmacist can not change to generic.
Ask your pharmacist to see if he can give you the generic Phentermine.
