I have been at a plateau for years it seems like.I have spent probably thousands of dollars on programs and pills and nothing works! I have been faithful to the programs too(really) Im not looking for a ‘quick fix’ just something to get me back to my healthy wt. Im 5′4 and 190.I eat healthy and am healthy except for my wt.I heard of phentermine and asked my Dr. but she said she would hear nothing of it.I have been looking for a Dr. to prescribe but dont know where to look.I have heard it is online but would never go that route.Anyone had any experience with it?Is it worth finding another Dr. who will help me out?Is there a way to find specific dr’s in my area without calling each one?I have heard good stories, but also bad.
My boyfriend takes this for his weight/sleep apnea.
It has worked well for him. Doctors don’t like giving it because it’s an amphetamine, and maybe addictive if you’ve had problems in the past.
Also if you’ve ever had any heart-blood pressure problems they probably don’t want you taking it.
If you don’t have any of these problems, see if you can find another doctor. My boyfriend uses a Nurse Practitioner, try and find you one of them, they are usually more understanding than doctors!
