Is there a difference, or is one generic and the other brand name?
I’m 5′2 and weight 185. I used to weigh 130 about 3 years ago.
Two weeks ago my uncle went to a doctor and he prescribed Phentermine for him. I saw him last weekend, and he alot lost about 10 lbs. So i decided to go see the same doctor so he can prescribe something for me to lose weight as well, although, he prescribed Adipex. I tried to read about it online to compare….but i would like to hear about personal experiences.
Does Adipex work as well as Phentermine???
On monday i started a dieting and excercising, so now i will be taking Adipex as well.
How much weight could i be expected to lose in about a month???

Phentermine is just the generic name for Adipex. It works just as well. They are the exact same formulary. You just pay for the brand name when you buy Adipex. You can expect drastic weight loss with either one………….like as much as one pound per day. BUT, the downside is the minute you stop taking it that weight will come back on just as quickly as if left. Believe me, I’ve taken it more than once in my life.
